1. Temporarily pause your Shopify website

To prevent orders during setup, please enable password protection on your website:

  • Log in to Shopify
  • Go to Sales ChannelsOnline StorePreferences
  • Scroll to Password Protection
  • Enable password protection and enter the message: “Store closed for maintenance.”
  • Save changes

2. Remove any existing third-party integrations (e.g. Binder POS, Storepass)

  • Go to Shopify SettingsApps
  • Click the three dots next to the app and all app variations you wish to remove
  • Select Uninstall

3. Delete all TCG-related product types containing single-card inventory

For each single-card product type:

  • Go to ShopifyProducts
  • Click FilterAdd filterProduct type
  • Select the relevant single-card product type
  • Tick the checkbox to select products
  • Click the “50 selected” dropdown → choose Select all results
  • Click the three dots → Delete products
  • Confirm deletion

4. Repeat Step 3

Complete the above process for each individual single-card product type in Shopify.

5. Install the Game Locker app

  • First send an email to our Customer Success team (mailys@gamelocker.com.au) with your Shopify domain name e.g. {yourcustomshop}.myshopify.com.
  • Wait to hear back that it has been connected on your side.
  • Once confirmed, install the Game Locker app via the direct link: https://apps.shopify.com/game-locker
Please note: Game Locker is not visible in the public Shopify app search, so it must be accessed via the direct link above.

 

Completing the above steps is essential to ensuring a smooth Shopify sync and accurate data within both platforms.

Please note: You will only start seeing items synced from Game Locker to your Shopify once you set Pricing Automations within the Game Locker platform.
