1. Temporarily pause your Shopify website
To prevent orders during setup, please enable password protection on your website:
- Log in to Shopify
- Go to Sales Channels → Online Store → Public
- Click on Password Protection
- Enter the message: “Store closed for maintenance.”
- Save changes
2. Remove any existing third-party integrations (e.g. Binder POS, Storepass)
- Go to Shopify Settings → Apps
- Click the three dots next to the app and all app variations you wish to remove
- Select Uninstall
3. Accept our Shopify Collaborator request
- Log in to your Shopify Admin.
- Go to Settings → Users and Permissions.
- Scroll to the Collaborators section at the bottom of the page.
- Find the Game Locker collaborator request.
- Click Accept Request.

4. Install the Game Locker app
- Install the Game Locker app via the direct link: https://apps.shopify.com/game-locker
Please note: Game Locker is not visible in the public Shopify app search, so it must be accessed via the direct link above.
What Game Locker will do once access is granted:
1. Review your current store navigation and collection structure
We’ll assess your existing menu layout and product organisation.
2. Create smart collections for Game Locker inventory
We’ll set up automated collections (e.g. Pokémon TCG, Magic: The Gathering TCG) that automatically display products synced from Game Locker.
3. Update your store website navigation
Existing singles-related menu links and collections will be replaced with the new Game Locker-connected collections.
4. Remove old singles collections and products
Outdated collections and associated products will be deleted. This process may take some time and can continue running in the background.
Completing the above steps is essential to ensuring a smooth Shopify sync and accurate data within both platforms.
Please note: You will only start seeing items synced from Game Locker to your Shopify once you set Pricing Automations within the Game Locker platform.
