Game Locker Giveaway Terms and Conditions

1. About these terms

1.1 These are the terms and conditions for the Game Locker promotion described in the Schedule (Promotion). The Promotion uses a random selection of entries from a draw to determine the winners of prizes. The Schedule describes the specific details of the Promotion (including special eligibility requirements, prizes, dates and times), and takes priority if there is a conflict with these terms and conditions.

1.2 Game Locker Pty Ltd, ABN 16 684 573 822 of 9/446 Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000, Melbourne, Victoria (Game Locker, we, us) runs the Promotion in connection with the Game Locker marketplace at gamelocker.co (Game Locker Marketplace).

2. Eligibility

2.1 To enter, you must be an individual natural person, 18 years or older and an Australian resident. We can require you to show proof of age and may disqualify your entries (before or after the draw) if we cannot establish that you are eligible.

2.2 The Promotion is open to Australian residents nationally, unless any State or Territory is excluded in the Schedule. You are not eligible to enter the Promotion if you reside in an excluded State or Territory.

2.3 There may be additional eligibility requirements for the Promotion, e.g. it may only be open to Game Locker My Locker PRO subscribers (PRO subscribers). Refer to the Schedule for the applicable requirements.

2.4 You cannot enter using a Game Locker business or shop account, or using multiple accounts, on the Game Locker Marketplace. You cannot enter on behalf of anyone else, or a business.

2.5 Game Locker’s employees and their immediate family members cannot enter.

3. Entries

3.1 The Promotion runs during the Promotion Period stated in the Schedule.

3.2 You must have an account on the Game Locker Marketplace to enter. Entering is free; you earn entries by taking the actions listed in the Schedule (which may include becoming a PRO subscriber or making purchases on the Game Locker Marketplace at the normal price for those purchases). The number of entries you earn per action is also specified in the Schedule. The Schedule may cap the number of entries you can earn from any one action or entry method.

3.3 Entries into this Promotion are for this Promotion only; they do not carry over between promotions. At the end of the Promotion Period, entries lapse.

3.4 If you cease to be a PRO subscriber during the Promotion Period, we will remove any entries you earned because of that subscription.

3.5 Each individual entry has the same value and the same random chance of being drawn. More entries give you a proportionately higher chance of winning.

3.6 The Promotion is run using electronic means and via the internet; we are not responsible for entries that do not reach us due to technical or communications problems beyond our control (including problems with your device or internet connection), or due to data entry errors by you.

4. Disqualification and prohibited conduct

4.1 During the Promotion or after the draw, we can refuse or cancel entries, disqualify an entrant (and all of their entries), and reclaim any prizes awarded or delivered (or their equivalent value), if the entrant:

  • (a) is or was not eligible for the Promotion under these terms; or
  • (b) engages or has engaged in any prohibited conduct listed in clause 4.2.

4.2 You must not:

  • (a) earn entries under more than one Game Locker account;
  • (b) earn an entry from a marketplace order that was later cancelled, returned, refunded or charged back for any reason;
  • (c) earn an entry from buying an item listed on the Game Locker Marketplace which you also control, directly or indirectly;
  • (d) use a bot, script or other technical exploit to earn entries instead of genuinely using and interacting with the Game Locker Marketplace; or
  • (e) otherwise gain entries through other conduct similar or analogous to items (a)-(d) above which undermines the intent and fairness of the Promotion, as reasonably determined by us.

4.3 If you are disqualified or found to be ineligible after receiving a prize, you must, within 5 days of our request:

  • (a) For a tangible product: return it in its original, undamaged condition and sealed packaging, via a tracked and insured shipping method, at your cost. Risk in the item belongs with you until we receive it. If you are unable to do so, you must pay us the full market value of the prize instead (being the value recorded in the Schedule or for a prize of variable value, the value of the prize at the date of our request, assessed using the same method).
  • (b) For a cash prize: you must repay it to Game Locker by funds transfer or such other method reasonably specified by Game Locker.
  • (c) For credit or similar prizes: you must pay Game Locker for any portion of the prize already consumed or utilised, and Game Locker will cancel or withdraw (by electronic means) the remaining benefit.

4.4 If we disqualify a winner under this clause 4 before a prize has been awarded, we will treat the prize as unclaimed and redraw it in accordance with clause 8 and 9.2. If we have already awarded the prize, then we may treat the prize as unclaimed in the same way (if commercially reasonable and practicable for us), or cancel it from the Promotion.

4.5 If you disagree with a decision we make under this clause, you can promptly notify us in writing and we will promptly reasonably consider your submissions. However, this will not necessarily delay the draw or any redraw, or the delivery of prizes, and our decision is final.

5. The draw

5.1 We will hold the draw within one month of the end of the Promotion Period. We run the draw (and any redraw) ourselves, electronically and at random.

5.2 If the Promotion has more than one prize, we draw the major prize first, then the rest in descending order of value.

5.3 No entrant can win more than one prize in the Promotion. If more than one entry belonging to the same entrant is drawn in the Promotion, the first entry will qualify and all subsequent entries will be disqualified.

6. Winners

6.1 We will notify each winner in writing within 7 days of the draw.

6.2 We will publish the draw results online as stated in the Schedule within 7 days of the draw, and keep them up for at least 28 days.

6.3 We will deliver prizes within 28 days of the draw, at no cost to the winner.

7. Prize substitution and prize types

7.1 If permitted in the Schedule, a winner may choose to receive the advertised prize or, instead, to receive a substitute such as cash or Game Locker Marketplace credit of the same value, by notifying Game Locker in writing when claiming the prize in accordance with clause 8.2 below.

8. Unclaimed prizes

8.1 We will use all reasonable efforts to reach you to notify you that you are a winner. Our primary method for notifying you is via email to the email address you provided when you entered the Promotion or in your Game Locker Marketplace or My Locker account. It is your responsibility to ensure this email address is current.

8.2 Once we notify or have used reasonable attempts to notify you that you are a winner, you must, within 7 days, confirm you accept the prize and give us any information we reasonably need to deliver it to you (including a delivery address), using the method stated in the Schedule.

8.3 If you do not respond to claim your prize as required by clause 8.2, if we cannot reach you despite reasonable attempts, or if you are selected as a winner but your entry is cancelled or disqualified under clause 4, then we will redraw a new winner from the remaining entries within 7 days after the 7-day period under clause 8.2 ends. Clauses 8.1-8.2 will then apply to the redrawn winner, and if the prize is still unclaimed after the redraw, we will either run another redraw in accordance with this clause or deal with it in another way as required by applicable law.

9. Prize value

9.1 Prize values are approximate, and for some prize types, market value might change over time. We fix each prize value as at the date and in the manner stated in the Schedule, and keep a record of how we worked it out.

9.2 If an advertised prize becomes unavailable before the draw, we may substitute a prize of the same or greater value and update the Promotion’s advertising to reflect it before the draw (unless this is not permitted under any permit we hold for the Promotion). We will also notify existing entrants via email.

10. Records and privacy

10.1 We keep records of entries, prizes awarded, and winner notification and publication, for at least 5 years.

10.2 We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy. If you enter the Promotion, you acknowledge and agree that we will:

  • (a) use your name and contact details to administer and communicate with you about the Promotion;
  • (b) if you win a prize, publish your name and the State or Territory in which you reside as part of publishing the results of this Promotion; and
  • (c) also use your name and contact details for Game Locker marketing purposes, unless you opt out by using the unsubscribe link in the message you receive or by contacting us at hello@gamelocker.co.

11. Changes and ending the Promotion

Subject to applicable laws, we can modify, suspend or cancel the Promotion if something outside our reasonable control stops it running as planned (including a technical or security failure), or if we reasonably believe fraud or tampering has compromised its integrity.

12. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss, damage or injury arising from your entry, your use of a prize, its delivery or a third-party supplier’s conduct, except for loss we have caused by our own negligence or wilful misconduct, our breach of these terms or arising from a right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

13. General

13.1 If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it is severed and the remaining terms still apply.

13.2 These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, but applicable gaming, trade promotions and consumer protection laws throughout Australia continue to apply.

  • Minor Prize 3: 6 December 2026, 12:00PM AEST
  • Minor Prize 4: 13 December 2026, 12:00PM AEST
  • Grand Prize: 13 December 2026, 12:00PM AEST

Total prize pool value: $3,000 AUD.

Prizes:

  • Grand Prize: PSA 10 Mega Gengar ex - 284/217. Value: $2,500. Quantity: 1.
  • Minor Prizes: Pokemon TCG: 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box. Value: $100. Quantity: 4.

Valuation date and basis: For sealed products, we take into account the MSRP as the value. For variable-value prizes such as graded cards, we take into account the value the item would fetch at auction market rate as of October 2026.

Substitutions: Not applicable for this giveaway.

Entry methods and rates: You can earn entries in the Promotion by, during the Promotion Period:

  • making purchases on the Game Locker Marketplace (excluding delivery fees): 1 entry per $20 AUD spent (cap: none);
  • subscribing to My Locker PRO monthly: 10 entries (cap: 1) [see note 1 below];
  • subscribing to My Locker PRO annual: 100 entries (cap: 1) on the date of purchase;
  • following Game Locker on social media: 1 entry per social media channel, per account (cap: 4), and remaining a follower at the end of the Promotion Period [see note 2 below].

Note 1: If a PRO subscriber’s monthly billing date falls within the Promotion Period, they automatically earn 10 entries into this Promotion on that billing date.

Note 2: You will earn the entry by clicking the relevant link in the Game Locker Marketplace. However, when we run the draw we may ask you to demonstrate that the social media account used to follow Game Locker belongs to the same person holding the Game Locker account, and that the following on social media has continued throughout the Promotion Period. If we cannot establish this to confirm your eligibility, you may be disqualified.

Winner notification and acceptance method: Email. This applies to how Game Locker will notify a winner, and also to how winners communicate with Game Locker about things like delivery addresses, proving eligibility (if required), or asking for a prize substitution (e.g. taking cash instead of the advertised prize).
